Sutter County Supervisors are getting a workout this month: A meeting a week ago Tuesday. Another two days ago, and what could be lengthy department budget presentations tonight at 6 PM.

This budget study session will present the current-year’s budget status and provide policy-level input to the County Administrator for the Fiscal Year 2023-24 budget development. The year starts July 1.
Tonight’s meeting allows Supervisors to get a picture of what’s happening now, and what staff expects to happen in the new Fiscal Year.
Supervisors can make policy recommendations that would be incorporated into what’s presented at Budget Hearings June 20, and scheduled adoption June 27.
