It’s called “Middle College” and gets a review by Marysville Unified School Trustees at 5:30 tonight.
The new school lets high school students earn an Associates college degree by taking classes on the Yuba College Marysville Campus.
Which grades can attend is being adjusted and reviewed tonight, before the new “Middle College Academy School” opens enrollment this summer.
The district marketing piece says this new approach “supports the changing job market with highly skilled and highly prepared employees. This school, in partnership with Yuba College, is ready to serve students, families and the business community.”
We’ll carry the special meeting LIVE at 5:30, here on Yuba-Sutter.LIVE, our Facebook page and YouTube Channel.
Trustees have a 4PM Study session before the special meeting. They’re looking at changing school attendance boundaries before a proposed 2024 school bond measure.
