A ten-unit apartment building on C Street is on Marysville’s council agenda Tuesday. Here’s what and where.
If constructed along with another four-story, 36-unit project a block away, downtown would have 46 multi-family units within walking distance of many locations. It may take three years to see completion. When occupied, the apartments could bring more than a million dollars a year into downtown, including rent.
Using the 2021 Marysville median income of $26,377 for individuals, 46 single people would bring $1,213,342 to downtown. Many are two-bedroom units, which could raise that number to $2,426,684 a year. If single bedroom units were occupied by couples, that could go even higher.
