Yuba-Sutter’s mental health is showing signs of improvement, based on an annual report to both counties. Suicide is one of the actions addressed. Presented by Yuba-Sutter’s mental health director Rick Bingham, the report scopes out how much difference money, people the money provides, new approaches, and time have helped.
Bingham notes that more than a thousand local people have been trained to address mental health emergencies, much like folks get first-aid training.
